Fifty years after the first moon landing, the Hasselblad 500EL that captured one of the most iconic images in history remains on the dusty lunar surface, alongside the footprints of astronauts

It was mounted with a Zeiss Planar 80mm f/2.8 lens. Both camera bodies and lenses were left on the surface of the moon due to strict weight requirements to safely return from the mission.
